What affects the cost of MFP wintergardens?

Every installation is made to measure, so we quote after a free design visit rather than publishing prices. The main things that affect the cost are:

• The footprint, roof pitch and rafter height.

• Steel-reinforced rafters for larger spans.

• Doors, shading, heating, lighting and automation.

• Double or triple glazing, 28mm to 42mm.

Do I need planning permission for a wintergarden?

It depends on the size, position and your property. Many single-storey extensions are permitted development, but permitted development rights don't apply to flats and maisonettes, and conservation areas and listed buildings have extra rules. Building Regulations may also apply separately. We check this with you at the design stage.
