Frequently asked questions
Bifold or pivot door?
A bifold opens almost the whole wall, folding up to 10 panels to the left or right. A pivot door turns on a pivot hinge, so a single large panel, glazed or solid, makes a dramatic entrance or opening.
How large can an external pivot door be?
The MFP external pivot door can accommodate glass panels up to 12m wide.
Can pivot doors be used inside the house?
Yes. The MFP internal pivot door has a concealed pivot, comfort closing and swings up to 360° in either direction.
Are MFP bifold doors secure?
They offer burglar resistance in accordance with RC2/RC2N, and external pivot doors have multi-point locking and an integrated alarm contact.
Can I have wood finishes?
Yes. MFP bifold doors come in aluminium, wood/aluminium or wood, in a wide variety of RAL colours.
