Systems at a glance
MFP wintergardens: roof pitches from 5° to 45°, double or triple glazing 28mm to 42mm thick, aluminium or wood/aluminium in multiple RAL colours, and glass walls with single, sliding, pivot or bifold doors. MFP glass house and canopy: 8mm, 10mm or 12mm laminated safety glass, an aluminium subframe in RAL colours or spruce wood finish, and options including awnings, heating and LED spotlights.

1. Free design visit. We visit your home, talk through the design, glass and finishes, and look at the structure and floor levels.

3. Detailed survey. Once you go ahead, every dimension and detail is checked before anything is made.
4. Made to measure. Your system is custom manufactured to your exact sizes and specification.
5. Careful installation. Our own experienced installation team protects your home, installs everything and leaves it clean.
6. Certificates and guarantees. You receive your FENSA certificate where applicable, a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee and the manufacturer's guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a wintergarden and a glass canopy?
A wintergarden is a fully heat-insulated glass room for year-round living. A glass canopy is a sheltered glass roof over your terrace, which you can enclose with glass doors or screens to make a glass house.
What roof pitches are possible?
Both systems support roof pitches from 5° to 45°.
Can I use the space in winter?
Yes. Wintergardens have a completely heat-insulated roof, and canopies can have heating and integrated LED spotlights for 24/7 use.
Can the roof vents and shades be automated?
Yes. Wintergarden roof ventilation, shades and lighting can all be automated.
Do I need planning permission?
It depends on the size, position and your property. Many single-storey extensions are permitted development, but conservation areas and listed buildings have extra rules, and Building Regulations may also apply. We check this with you.
