Rooflights & Roof Lanterns
Bring light from above with aluminium roof lanterns and flat rooflights, made to measure and installed across London and the Home Counties.
Light from above reaches parts of a room that windows can't. A rooflight or roof lantern can transform a kitchen, extension or orangery, making it feel brighter, taller and more open. We design, supply and install aluminium roof lanterns and flat rooflights across London and the Home Counties, working alongside your builder if you are mid-project.
Our rooflight range
Roof lanterns → – Pitched glass lanterns that add height and a striking architectural feature. We install the UK-made Korniche roof lantern, with U-values as low as 1.0 W/m²K, sizes up to 6m x 4m and PAS 24 security as standard.
Flat rooflights → – Minimal, low-profile glazing for flat roofs, with double or triple glazed options and a clean, contemporary finish.
Glazing and colour options
Choose from solar-control glass to manage heat on south-facing roofs, self-cleaning glass to keep the roof clear, and laminated or privacy glass. Korniche lanterns come in gloss white, matt grey and matt black, with a different colour inside and out at no extra cost, or bespoke RAL and BS colours.

Frequently asked questions
Roof lantern or flat rooflight?
A roof lantern's pitched glass adds height and makes a bold feature. A flat rooflight is more minimal and sits lower on the roof. We'll recommend the best option for your roof and room.
Do rooflights need to meet Building Regulations?
Yes. In England a new or replacement rooflight should achieve a U-value of 2.2 W/m²K or better. The Korniche roof lantern achieves as low as 1.0 W/m²K. If the rooflight is part of a new extension, it is covered by the extension's Building Regulations approval.
Do I need planning permission?
A rooflight or lantern fitted as part of an extension is usually covered by the extension's planning permission or permitted development. Adding one to an existing roof may need permission depending on how far it projects, so check with your council or architect.
Which glass should I choose?
Solar-control glass reduces heat build-up on sunny, south-facing roofs, and self-cleaning glass helps keep the roof clear. We'll recommend the right glass for your roof.
Can you fit a rooflight during building work?
Yes. We can work alongside your builder on an extension, measuring the upstand once it is built so the rooflight fits exactly.
