REHAU uPVC French Doors
Overview
REHAU AGILA French doors give a wide, double-door opening onto the garden or patio, built on the 70mm TOTAL70 platform. A low threshold makes the step out easy, and decorative glass and Georgian bar options suit period and modern homes alike.

REHAU's range runs to 24 named colours across four collections: Contemporary (greys such as Anthracite Grey and Slate Grey, plus Midnight Black), Timeless (Simply White, Clotted Cream, Chartwell Green, Pearl Grey), Traditional woodgrains (Turner Oak, Irish Oak, Golden Oak, Rosewood) and Statement shades such as Racing Green. Many clients choose a grey or black outside with white inside, so the doors suit the garden and the kitchen.
What affects the cost of REHAU French doors?
Every installation is made to measure, so we quote after a free survey rather than publishing prices. The main things that affect the cost are:
The width and height of the doors.
Side panels or a top light.
Colour, especially a different colour inside and out.
Glass type, such as toughened, decorative or Georgian bars.
Threshold type and any work to widen or alter the opening.
Your quote is fixed and itemised, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
How we install REHAU French doors
Free survey: we measure the opening and check whether you could go wider with side panels.
Design: we agree the split, opening direction, glazing and colour.
Made to measure: fabricated from REHAU AGILA profiles.
Installation: usually a day, with the old doors removed and the new frame fixed, sealed and finished.
Sign-off: FENSA registration, a Building Regulations certificate and your guarantee.
The aluminium alternative
Our aluminium French doors have slimmer frames and more glass, in any of 150+ RAL colours. For wider openings, see bi-fold doors and sliding doors.
REHAU French doors: frequently asked questions
How wide can uPVC French doors be?
AGILA French doors go up to 1900mm wide and 2200mm high. Side panels can widen the opening further.
Can French doors have a level threshold?
Yes. A low threshold option is available for Part M compliance.
Should French doors open in or out?
Either works. Outward-opening doors save space inside and seal well against the weather, inward-opening suit balconies. We advise at survey.
Can both doors open fully?
Yes. A dummy mullion option lets both doors open with no centre post.
French doors or sliding doors?
French doors open fully and suit narrower openings. Sliding doors suit wider openings and don't need space to swing.
Can I add Georgian bars?
Yes. Georgian bars and decorative glass are available to suit period homes.
